About Macon Tree Care

Tree removal, trimming, stump grinding and storm cleanup for Macon-Bibb County and Middle Georgia.

Macon Tree Care is a booking line, not a tree company. Calls, messages and quote requests to this site go to a booking desk, not to a crew: the desk gets back to you, takes the details, and passes the job to an independently owned tree service business in the area, which quotes it and does the work. The site exists so that a homeowner with a leaning pine does not have to call six numbers and compare six verbal quotes.

The crew was picked the way you would pick one yourself, given a free afternoon to do it. Before a crew takes calls from this line it explains how it takes down a tree that has no room to fall, and agrees to three rules: the estimate is written, the price does not move on the day, and the yard is left clean. One crew serves one area, so you are never passed from a call center to a dispatcher to a subcontractor.

A crew that misses appointments, changes a price after the fact or leaves a lawn in ruts is dropped from the line. There is no other quality control; it holds because the crew keeps this line only as long as the work deserves it. If something about a job is not right, ring the same number and tell us.

This is how a call plays out. Someone asks what the tree is, where it stands and what worries you, and sets a time to come out. On the visit the crew looks at the lean, the drop zone, what is underneath and how it will get equipment in, then writes the estimate on the spot with removal, cleanup and stump grinding as separate lines. Storm calls skip the queue: a tree on a house, a car or a line is dispatched first, at any hour.

The service area is Bibb County and the towns around it: the older neighborhoods of Vineville, Shirley Hills and Ingleside, North Macon out along Zebulon and Bass roads, Lizella and Lake Wildwood to the west, Bolingbroke and Forsyth to the north, Gray on the Jones County side, and Byron, Perry and Warner Robins down I-75. Not sure your address is inside that area? Call and ask; the answer is quick.

Two points that deserve to be said outright. The price on the estimate is the price on the invoice unless you change the job, and a tree touching a power line is cleared on the line side by Georgia Power before any crew from this number works on it.
